Environment and Conservation
There has long been a deep concern among members about improving the quality of our natural environment and providing some encouragement for the community to share these values and also get out and enjoy this.

Examples of projects are:

  • St Johns Bush clean-up and planting
  • Planting days at Waiatarua Reserve
  • Beach clean-up's on local coastlines
  • Planting days on Motutapu Island
  • Restoration of a bunker on Motutapu Island and its conversion into a  storage facility for conservation work on the island.
  • Contributions to ward the Rotary Centennial Pathway on Motutapu Island including funding of a bridge.
  • and much more including some assistance for projects in the Pacific Islands
