Henning Schmidt Exchange Student from Wiesbaden, Germany

Henning presented an action packed talk on where he’s from.   He is one of six siblings - two of his sisters’ are former Rotary Exchange students - and Lyn the cat who lives with his Mutter and Vater in a beautiful place called Wiesbaden 15kms from Frankfurt and close to the Rhine.  It is one of the oldness spa towns in Europe and is famous for its architecture and climate. He has completed school and plans on becoming a carpenter. He plays guitar and played hockey for five years, involved with Japanese akido marital art and is a Boy Scout. Henning presented an eclectic array of well-known global German brands from Aldi to Nivea (who knew that?) to Zalando and every German brand in between.  He’s attending Glendowie College and is currently staying with Robyn and Tony Ingram and their two older girls.
