DO YOU WANT TO MAKE POSITIVE CHANGES IN YOUR COMMUNITY AND AROUND THE WORLD?

"You can’t do a Rotary project alone, you can’t become a Rotarian alone. We work together in Rotary, because that is how we achieve. We leverage our contributions to do more together than we ever could do alone. That is the idea we are built on. It is the principle that allows rather ordinary people, like me, to make a difference on a scale we could never aspire to in any other way. Through Rotary, we can make a difference while still working in our jobs, raising our families, and carrying on our daily lives. Rotary exists alongside all of that. That is how Rotary is intended to work, and that’s why it does work so well for so many talented people with many responsibilities and many obligations. We are a team."    - Ian Riseley, Rotary International President 2017-2018

Our club members are men and women of all ages, including young professionals, who share a passion for both community service and friendship.  While we meet weekly our approach is 'come when you can, do what you can' which recognises that members have lives and commitments outside of Rotary although there is an expectation that members will be regularly involved in club activities and projects as they can.

Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group of professionals who share your drive to give back.
  • Discuss your community's needs and discover creative ways to meet them
  • Expand your leadership and professional skills
  • Catch up with good friends and meet new ones
  • Connect with leaders from all continents, cultures, and occupations
Membership is by invitation but you are welcome to approach Beryl for a no-obligation chat to find out more about membership and if you think this is for you, to then let this be known. Rest assured you will be made to feel very welcome and Beryl will help you find out more about St Johns Rotary and Rotary in general and ensure that you find your best fit within Rotary.
