St Piux School Leadership Camp
A small contribution with big outcomes: Letter of thanks for our support: Our sincere thanks for to Rotary Club of St Johns for their continued support for our school. We had a wonderful two days with our Year 8 students at the Franciscan Friary Retreat Centre in Hillsborough, at the end of last term.
For several of our students it was the first time they had been away from home over night and for some, the first time they had a bedroom of their own. These young leaders had the opportunity to reflect on their time at St Pius X and what their personal life goals are as they get ready for college next year. To be able to do this away from the distractions of younger students and siblings as well as technology, was extremely beneficial.
We are unable to pass the cost of these experiences on to our families so it is only through the continued and generous support from groups like Rotary that we are able to offer our fantastic students these opportunities.
