RYLA 2016 Starts
The 2016 Rotary Young-Person Leadership Awards (RYLA) experience started on 2 July.
Organised in 2016 by Howick Rotary, there are over 119 young adults about to have an experience that will last them a lifetime. 12 of these are sponsored by St Johns Rotary and we wish them well.
RYLA is a week-long leadership development programme for 20-28 year-old participants, hosted and sponsored by Rotary Clubs in district 9920. RYLA is an experiential live-in programme designed to help young people develop their team work and communication skills and fulfill their potential as leaders.
RYLA is a Rotary programme run by most districts across the world and while the criteria and format of the programme may differ by district, the objectives are the same.
