Remember when we could actually meet together?? (photo below as evidence!)
As our first opportunity to meet up post-lockdown, please join in a 2-hour Working Bee at Apirana Reserve - outside, physically distanced, masked up
- Location: Apirana Reserve, 81-99 Apirana Ave, Glen Innes (opp. 7th Day Adventist Church)
- Time: 9.30-11.30 am on Sunday 21 Nov.
- Task: weeding especially around plantings from last planting season
- Preparations: dress for the weather conditions (which have been arranged to be fine, like last time!)
- also wear a mask, gumboots, gloves
- bring a hand-grubber or fork or similar as suitable for weeding; spades not needed
- Rewards: getting together!; releasing young native plants from competition from weeds; sharing a takeaway coffee together afterwards
