Meet 10am at Line Road entrance to Eastview Reserve (look for Rotary flag)
For any updates feel free to Register at https://rotarystjohns.club/event/omaru-stream-clean-up-(environmental-project)/ and / or keep an eye on the club Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/StJohnsRotaryClub but if you would like to join Rotary in this environmental initiative just turn up on the day.
If you want to support but are unable to help with the physical clean-up then meet us at Apirana Reserve for the talk there (see below).
The clean-up will start with a briefing. Can be wet / muddy so dress accordingly and bring gloves. Children of participants must be supervised. No toilets along route. Bring your own drinks and snacks
This includes TWO value activities: First is the clean-up, and the second is a talk at the Apirana Reserve describing the transformation to date from a scrubby wasteland to a area planted in native plants and an overview of the plans for expanding these plantings in the years ahead to create a community asset you will enjoy walking, playing and picnicing in.
