On the 17th November, a team of 24 headed to Hanoi, Vietnam, with the mission to change two families’ lives by building each family a house. This was the third build Gary and I have done with Habitat. The first being in Nepal and last year, Buenos Aires, Argentina. When we started Habitat did warn us it can become Habitual! Joining us on this trip were a number of present and past Rotarians - Simon Jones, Nigel Robinson, Mary Ann Davison and Bruce & Dawn Hancock. With mission completed, the team then explored Vietnam going to Halong Bay for a fantastic cruise followed by a train trip to Hue, then on to Hoi An and ending in Ho Chi Minh city.

It was great being able to change families’ lives, the food was great, the people great and a great country. Watch this space next year for Cambodia in November - “only 2 seats left”.
