Well, our 5th Stonefields Community Fair is over. Despite the appalling weather conditions, we do feel we provided a wonderful day full of fun and community spirit. Sometimes, in a situation like this with the bad weather, it  just makes you all pull together even more as a community.

Stonefields School is very appreciative of the partnership with Rotary and estimate that this year they will raise $11,000 towards their masterplan for the school environment.
For those that were not at the Fair this year, it covered more area than ever before, taking up the whole site with the inclusion of an Army obstacle course and pony rides. Sadly the field events and the outdoor stage were put on hold during the early hour torrential downpour. But fortunately the wet did not deter people who stayed for the weather to clear and venture out to field. Numbers were naturally down but there was a great vibe throughout the day.
The school have acknowledged our involvement in organising and running this community fair, and I along with the Fair organising committee want to thank all our Rotarians involved. I would especially like to thank Mark Hillman, my righthand man, for the huge hours he has put into the logistics.
We can all be proud of another successful Rotary Project

Thank you
